4. Standardized Procurement Data (Indigenous Identity / Relationships)

In the case where your vendors havent registered with Nisto and filled out their Corporate Identity form in the Portal - please follow below to ensure Nisto knows which vendors are Indigenous or have Indigenous community relationships.

4b. Standardized Procurement Data (Indigenous Identity)

For any Indigenous businesses engaged in your supply chain, OR for non-Indigenous businesses with relationships or partnerships with Indigenous communities, please provide the following information:

  • Vendor Name

  • Community Affiliation
    (Specify the affiliated community. If unknown, select from general categories: Indigenous (General), First Nation (General), Métis (General), or Inuit (General)).

    AND

  • Indigenous Ownership Verification
    (e.g., Third-party Certification – specify certifier, Self-Declared, or Owned by an Indigenous Community)

    OR

  • Is this a Relationship or Partnership

How to get us this information.

This information can either be uploaded as a *.csv file into the Data Upload folder or you can message the Pehta staff and let us know through the Nisto Portal. Just let us know what project the Indigenous supply chain spend is part of.
